About the Programme
The Harmful Practices Knowledge Ambassador Programme is a London-wide prevention programme led by the National FGM Centre (NFGMC) in partnership with specialist, grass-roots organisations. The programme is funded by MOPAC and aims to raise awareness, build capacity, and drive system change to address harmful practices by tackling their root causes, including harmful attitudes towards women and girls, gender inequality, misogyny, and social norms that perpetuate abuse.

Who is it for?
The Harmful Practices Knowledge Ambassadors Programme engages:

Communities across London, including faith and community leaders, women and girls, men and boys, and underserved groups such as LGBTQI+ communities, people with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), and families seeking sanctuary.

Young people across London, including those in school and community settings.
Professionals
